Senior Police Inspector Arun Borude, who has been accused of raping a 15-year-old girl in suburban Powai in Mumbai, has been dismissed from service, the police said on Wednesday. Borude has been absconding since the case was registered last week. "The state director general of police ordered Borude's dismissal under Article 311 of the Constitution on grounds of immoral conduct," City Police Commissioner Sanjeev Dayal told reporters.
